The fool proof strategy to finding a husband? How to pick up men at Home Depot

  • Spot a man you think is attractive and ask him where something in the store is.
  • Then, after he takes you to the item, ask him for his advice on a random project you are working on.
  • After he gives you his opinion, tell me it’s a great idea.
  • Then, seal the deal by asking him if you can give him your number.

Breanna Nichols took to the video-sharing platform to reveal that she was ‘deleting the dating apps in 2023’ and focusing on nailing a beau at the building supplies retailer.

‘Deleting the dating apps in 2023. I am headed to Home Depot to “look confused” in the lumber aisle,’ she said.

Megan Louise told her followers that Home Depot is ‘made out of husband material.’

‘Ladies, no joke, Home Depot is where you go if you want to meet a man. I have at least three husbands,’ she said before jokingly adding that they ‘had wives.’

Another user, who goes by @latinkitty, even got dressed up and shared footage of herself walking through the popular home goods retailer and revealed a man even asked for her number.

And while some users have found their romantic match at the unlikely spot, others have not had as much luck at Home Depot.

One user, who goes by @itscybersav, revealed she went to Home Depot three times in one month but didn’t find ‘any husbands.’

‘Here I am, at Home Depot for the third time this month, no husbands in sight.

‘No I’m leaving Home Depot without what I needed and without a husband,’ she added.

TikToker @joleene_d took a different approach to the trend and asked an employee if they had an ‘aisle specifically where single men are?’

Janna Tak also spent her day walking up and down the aisles of Home Depot in hopes of finding her forever love.

The single lady joked that it ‘smelled like testosterone’ in the home goods store and added that her strategy was to ‘make intense eye contact so [the men] know you’re single.’

And since women were spending more time at Home Depot, one man decided to spill the secrets to picking up men while browsing the lumber aisle.

TikTok user @WildHeathen shared a dating hack for finding a beau at the home building supplies store.

He noted that just by going into the store as a woman ‘every single man will be intimated to talk to you,’ before detailing how to find your perfect match.

‘Once you have spotted [a man] you like, what you are going to do is go up to him and ask him where something is.

‘His fragile male ego will take over and instead of asking an associate, he will search the entire store trying to figure out where it is,’ he explained.

The TikToker added that although you ‘got him,’ you shouldn’t ‘stop there.’

‘Ask him if he has any suggestions for whatever bull**** project you have come up with, then, no matter how stupid it is or how much more you know than him, tell him how great it is,’ he added.

And the final step is getting his number.

‘Instead of asking him for his number ask him if you can give him yours, this will put the male at ease, thinking once again that he has control, and since all men go in there to buy instead of ship around, you can repeat this 20 minutes later,’ the TikToker explained.
