According to traffic services, a collision has been reported going westbound on the M4. Officers are now en route to deal with the incident between junction 34, Miskin and junction 35, Pencoed. Services have advised commuters to avoid the area.
Traffic Wales said: “M4 Westbound between J34 Miskin and J35 Pencoed.
“Officers en route, more updates to follow. Avoid the area if possible.”
Another incident has also been reported going eastbound between junction 45 Ynysforgan and junction 44 Lon Las.
Again, services have warned commuters to avoid the area.
The traffic collision heading westbound occurred at 6.50am.
Police confirmed said a car and a light goods vehicle were involved in the incident.
Emergency services have revealed there were no serious injuries from the crash.
South Wales Fire and Rescue officers also attended the scene to reports of an overturned car but no one was trapped inside the car.

The traffic incident was reported at 7.44am.
The M4 was hit by chaos earlier this month due to Insulate Britain protestors.
The group staged 10 days of protests over three weeks in England.
Thirty-nine activists were arrested by the police following their protests across the M1, M4 and the M25.
The group has claimed it will continue to blockade the roads around London until the Government takes action.
