Chief Instructor Ant Middleton wasted no time in dishing out orders during Monday’s highly awaited premiere episode of SAS Australia 2021.

Just 20 minutes into the show, the star recruits were told to strip down to their undies before going completely nude during a very tense interrogation.

One particular celebrity, who has become a household name thanks to a TV franchise, drew attention to his elaborate back tattoos. But would you recognise the star based on their inkings?

Exhausted from a tear gas exercise, the recruits were ordered to strip down to their underwear.

‘Everything that we tell you to do, do it… because most of you have showed us how undisciplined you are,’ Ant stated. ‘I’m on you, I’m watching you to see if your tiny little brains can take on the smallest bits of information.’

He continued: ‘When I say go, you will strip down to your underwear, put your trainers back on and stand exactly how you are.’

The recruits stripped off their clothing with celebrity chef Manu Feildel of My Kitchen Rules fame drawing attention to his elaborate back tattoos – a red star and a tribal-inspired design in black running across his shoulder blades.

Manu, 48, once again showed off his back tattoos as well as inkings across his chest and upper arms when ordered by Ant to go completely nude at the compound.

The French chef often shows off his tattoos in summer at the beach, and said they are ‘personal’ during an interview with The West Australian back in 2016.

‘I got my first tattoo when I was 18 in London, which was the cartoon character on my right arm, followed by a cartoon frog on my left arm. So I have been building them over the years and am still adding to them.’

Manu is one of 18 stars that are being subjected to extreme physical and psychological testing as they attempt to pass the selection process to join the Australian Army’s elite Special Air Service.

Manu will show his vulnerable side in the season ahead, breaking down in tears.

He announces that he is ‘going to show another side’ and says he wants to make his family proud.
