Mr Riposati, a Harvard graduate, founded Immensa in May 2020. He is also founder and CEO of US-based Dante Labs, which is currently under
an investigation by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) over its travel PCR tests.

The watchdog said it was looking into whether the firm was delivering tests and results on time or “at all”, whether it was adequately responding to customer complaints, and refusing or delaying refunds.

Andrea Coscelli, Chief Executive of the CMA, said in September: “People are paying significant amounts of money for these crucial PCR tests and there is no excuse for poor or non-existent service.

“While the rules in England around PCR testing for travel are due to change in the coming weeks, the CMA will continue to investigate whether companies are breaking the law.
