Princess Charlene of Monaco has wowed guests at the World Rugby Awards in a special red carpet appearance this evening.

The royal, 44, wore a smart white shirt and a black skirt at the Sporting Club in Monte Carlo for the glittering ceremony. She matched the ensemble with striking pearl earrings.

Charlene posed with husband Prince Albert II and their daughter Princess Gabriella, seven, who wore a rugby shirt. Albert was dressed in full black tie.

Mother-of-two Charlene took to the stage to hand Ireland’s Terry Kennedy the men’s Sevens Player of the Year award.

The Princess vanished from the limelight in 2021 after contracting a rare ear infection. But she has since recovered and returned to public life.

Yesterday evening she attended the National Monaco Day Gala with Prince Albert, opting for a classy navy gown.

Offsetting her outfit with a pair of gold-and-navy dangly earrings, Charlene also wore a pink smokey eye look and a nude lip for the occasion.

Earlier in the day, Charlene opted for a chic black-and-white ensemble for the event St Nicholas Cathedral.

Charlene wore a long, white coat for Monaco’s National Day, worn over a high-neck black dress. She also donned a pair of black leather gloves.

She completed her monochrome ensemble with a black, wide-brim hat and simple pearl drop earrings. The royal kept her make-up classic for the occasion.

Her husband, Prince Albert, was in formal attire, with a number of opulent medals embellishing the front of his jacket – which was embroidered with red and gold.
